  6. Lure
    By Deborah Kerbel

This book is about a boy named Max Green who moved from Vancouver to Toronto. He hasn't made any friends and nobody seems to interested in talking to him. Except one day, when a blonde girl, about his age, shows him a "haunted" library. Max doesn't believe in ghosts, but he is immediately interested in the library. He starts getting creepy messages from a teenage ghost named John. He has to figure out why John needs his help, and what happened in the buliding many years ago.
I'd recomend this book to people who like ghosts, and creepy books.

  10. The Lord of the Rings the fellowship
    By: J.R.R. Tolkein
The Lord of the Rings the Fellowship is a great beginning to an amzing trilogy. The first book is about how Bilbo, a hobbit ( a small person), gave his master ring to Frodo baggins, Bilbo's heir. Frodo, given this ring must now go on an epic quest to destroy this master ring before the powers of evil capture the ring and him. On his way to destroy this ring he becomes a member of a fellowship to destroy this ring. The fellowship is a most unexpected group consisting of 4 hobbits, 2 men, an elf, a wizard and a dwarf. Together the members of the fellowship must undergo gruelling temperatures and harsh enviroments. I like this book because it has many action scenes and always leaves you wanting more. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fanasty or action/adventure books because this book is a great mix of both.

  13. Catching Fire
    By Suzanne Collins
Catching Fire is the second installment of the famous Hunger Games series. In this novel, Katniss and Peeta return to District 12 after both winning the Hunger Games a few days back. Just when their lives are getting back to normal, the Capitol calls for a "Quarter Quell", which is another Hunger Games. They announce that each district must send two previous winners- one male and one female. Since District 12 only had one female winner, Katniss must return to the arena, accompanied by Peeta. Read this exciting novel to find out how and if Katniss and Peeta survive in the arena! I would recommend Catching Fire to anyone that is interested in reading adventure/science fiction books. Be sure to read the first book in the series, "Hunger Games" before reading Catching Fire!

  15. Breaking Point
    by Janice Greene
This book is a good book to read if you like a little or a lot of suspense. The book is to me very interesting and catching in the beginning and all the way through. The main character in this book is Alana and she is in a school where there are bullies that go way too far from just calling you names and laughing at you. There is a boy named Chuy Perez who is the leader of the notch group which is a horrible group. Alana soon realizes that her best friend Tiffany is holding some things back and is about to do something everyone will regret.
